HISTORIC UNIFICATION: PrintCon and Print Philippines Combine Forces to Launch Single Mega Trade Show for Philippine Print Industry
PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES — June 18, 2026 — In a landmark move for the domestic creative and printing sector, the Philippine Printing Technical Foundation, Inc. (PPTF) and the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP) have officially joined forces. For the first time in history, the country’s two premier printing events—PrintCon 2026 and Print Philippines 2026—will be consolidated into a single, unified trade show.
The mega-event is scheduled to take place from July 2–4, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The formal announcement was unveiled during a media briefing at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), signaling an end to fragmented industry events that previously resulted in duplicated costs and underutilized resources.
“By combining our efforts, we are providing a stronger, more unified voice for printing professionals across the country,” said PPTF President Mr. Dante E. Llarena. “We are here to spark conversations, strengthen our partnerships with the media, and generate the public awareness needed to truly drive our sector forward.”
A Strategic Division of Labor
The historic partnership capitalizes on the unique strengths of both organizations to offer a comprehensive ecosystem under one roof:
- Print Philippines will manage the exhibition floors, driving the buyers’ market, business-to-business (B2B) networking, and cutting-edge equipment showcases.
- PPTF will spearhead the educational and thought-leadership agenda, creating multi-sectoral programming alongside key government and community partners.
Future-Proofing with AI and Innovation
A central pillar of the upcoming trade show is the deep integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital evolution. Addressing the shift from traditional machine printing to solutions-based, sustainable, and highly personalized printing, organizers emphasized that technology is an accelerator rather than a threat.
Through a formalized partnership with the PTTC–Global MSME Academy, PrintCon 2026 will debut digital and AI certificate programs, emphasizing a “humanized AI” framework where routine tasks are automated, allowing professionals to focus on critical strategic thinking and competitive trends.
Unprecedented Cross-Sector Collaboration
Reflecting a mission-driven and values-centered approach, the event has gathered an extensive network of strategic allies.
- Government Agencies: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), PTTC, Department of Science and Technology (DOST), SB Corp, Design Center of the Philippines, National Book Development Board (NBDB), and TESDA.
- Creative & Community Partners: Major creative hubs and support networks including FHMoms, Googly Gooeys, Graphic Artists of the Philippines, and Komiket.
- World Class Exhibitors: Major Industry Exhibitors & Solutions Providers from Ideal Marketing, UBIX Corporation, Canon, Epson, Norde, Gakken, Heidelberg and a lot more.
Renowned marketing guru Josiah Go is slated as the keynote speaker, highlighting the enduring credibility and value of print in a modern, trust-driven economy.
